That's how you sit in a baseball glove. In any case, this was one of the ideas Charles Eames had in mind when designing this club chair. The lounge chair should be a comfort armchair, in which one can sink luxuriously. Through the construction of three interconnected, movable seat shells and a comfortable upholstery Charles Eames succeeded in the implementation. In fact, the club armchair with a swiveling foot is a contrast to the Bauhaus characteristics that emphasized minimalism and functionality. Nevertheless, he became a classic of Bauhaus history and still provides in many living rooms and clubs for absolute comfort with style.

Dimensions: Width 80 cm, depth 60 cm, height total 80 cm (height backrest: 60 cm). CBM: 0.70.

Lounge chair with seat shell of laminated curved plywood with rosewood veneer, walnut nature or in black. Rotatable base made of aluminium cast black with polished edges or optionally fully chromed. Elaborate upholstery of pillows in leather.

All upholstery units are removable at the Eames Lounge chair (seat, armrest, backrest, headrest).
